In typical July meets November fashion (we like to call it Julember! 😉 ) the weather has been mixed and unpredictable this month. It has been much more Autumnal than high Summer, and dressing for the changeable temperatures is challenging to say the least, particularly when it comes to the kids. We’ve adopted a bit of a hybrid style over here – shorts and dresses paired with chunky knits and raincoats – and plenty of layers that can be peeled off when the weather requires.
George at Asda recently encouraged us to choose some pieces from their Girls Summer range (you can find my full piece for them over on Life and Style) and we were delighted to see that they have the measure of the great British summer too. Affordable, easy to wear pieces that can be worn separately, or together on the cooler Summer days.
Some pictures of my girls doing their very best to exude that Summer spirit (in the drizzle. It was totally drizzling! 🙁 )

Thanks so much to George at Asda for partnering with us on this post, and for seeing us through this awkward SWinter weather in style! 🙂
