current favourites {all the jewels}

I’ve always been quite a minimal person when it comes to jewellery.  I did flirt briefly with the whole statement jewellery trend but, for the most part, understated is definitely my jam.  I love anything tiny and delicate, and especially so if I can layer lots of pieces together.  I think it just makes your look that little bit more unique perhaps.

I’m more likely to be found wearing gold than silver, but a bit of clashing metals never hurt anyone either, did it?  Since I got a few extra piercings back in the Summer, I’ve been layering up tiny little earrings too, and generally always choose silver over gold in those.  I’m a metal rebel, what can I say? 😉

I mentioned it last week, but I store all my everyday pieces on my desk in this pretty jewellery box.  I also found super similar ones here and here if you maybe have bigger items to store!  I love that they’re easily accessible and yet kept free from dust and products which cause tarnishing.  It’s also a really lovely way of letting your jewels be décor in themselves I think.  They’re far too pretty to be stored where they can’t be seen!

Andrew bought me this Dogeared bangle for Christmas and I absolutely love the little Maya Angelou quote on it.  It has become an everyday piece for me, worn with my Oliver Bonas stone bracelet too.

I bought these Kate Spade earrings fairly recently and snapped them up when I saw how similar they were to the coveted Dior ones I love.  You can wear them either way around, and the giant pearl looks so pretty just peeping out from behind your ear.

I have tonnes of little fine, gold necklaces but these three are my current favourites and I wear at least two of them every day.  The little ring on a long chain is from Oliver Bonas and looks really nice layered with either my favourite Michael Kors V pendant, or my Stanley and Maud nameplate necklace.  It’s no-fuss style and super easy to wear.

I picked up this Kate Spade ‘Going Places’ Idiom bangle in the sales after Christmas and totally fell in love with the quirky engraving on it.  Making it my mission to wear it in all of the places it mentions, in this next wee while! 😉  These star ear crawlers are old favourites and give the idea of having lots of piercings without the commitment.  Super delicate, they’re really pretty when on and you can also wear them as drop earrings too!

The best things come in tiny little packages, eh?

    Aaah I love this Emma! Such lovely pics. I usually wear silver toned jewellery — my wedding and engagement rings are platinum but I like to mix it up too. Particularly as my lovely mother-in-law gave me an amazing gold cocktail ring. I love the New York minute bangle — just gorgeous xx

    Oh I so love the earrings! I just got some August Woods earrings from Argento they are similar and 40% off and buy one pair get one free… great deal if you’re after some more front back earrings. I love gold tones too and mixing them up… my recent fav is my Alex Monroe Bumblebee necklace in rose gold, it’s solid yet delicate.

    Oh Emma these are dreamy beautiful. I love the danty neckalces at the moment which is rare for me because I have always worn the statement huge necklace. I am finding less is more at the moment. I just might have to buy one of these for myself for vday coming up. hahaha
