Of all the seasons, Autumn is my absolute favourite for style. I’m not sure if it’s a ‘back to school’ thing, or just a complete and utter addiction to everything cosy, but at this time of year I just love shopping that little bit extra. It’s also my birthday in September too, so I always feel that a little wish list around this time isn’t too overly indulgent. I mean, if nothing else, it gives Andrew a good solid present selecting base. I like to help out where I can! 😉
I’ve popped a little collage below of some of my favourite items right now. A couple I have bitten the bullet and bought already (because the rule in this game is buy before you blog guys. So many times I’ve finally gotten around to something and it has been totally sold out!) and no doubt you’ll see them popping up on Insta-Stories over the next few months. On that note, I’m tending to keep a lot of my style content over there these days. I always have huge imposter syndrome when it comes to anything fashion related. I wouldn’t consider myself particularly stylish or inspiring in that regard, and I’m always a bit shy when it comes to photos of myself too. A mirror selfie seems manageable though, and you guys are always so kind about me sharing new purchases and how I put outfits together, so I think it’s a good forum for that. Do follow over there if you’d like daily outfit pictures, monthly favourites and some little hauls too!
A camel coat is top of my wish list for this Autumn/ Winter. I had a cheaper version last year, just to test how I’d like it, and I was so sad to put it away at the end of the season. I love camel with pale blue, but I also think it would look amazing with this gorgeous petrol blue bag. All the Gucci vibes on the high street!
I’ve recently become a huge convert to pointed flats ( I previously thought they made my legs look a little stumpy. I’m less inclined to care now! 😉 ) and these ruby red ones are the perfect fix. Amazing with skirts and dresses, but also with cropped jeans and a simple fine knit jumper or shirt as the weather gets cooler.
Round sunglasses have always been my go-to, and I’d really love a Winter appropriate version. I’ve been looking for my ideal style of Ray-Bans for a while now and I think these might just be them!
I recently treated myself to the mini fang necklace from Missoma, but I’d love to be able to layer it with this horn one come the Autumn. This is top of my birthday wish list (hoping Mr M is on the case!)
As a self-confessed hat addict, I’d love to add a more neutral coloured one to my collection. I spied this one on the High Street, and it ticks all the boxes. I’ll add a floaty dress, wool tights, loafers and a chunky knit for an Autumn boho feel.
I’m ready for you Autumn!
