I feel really fortunate to have met so many lovely people in the process of working on Life at the Little Wood. For so many months it was a labour of love, and one conducted pretty much alone really, but then gradually I came to realise that there’s a whole vibrant community in blogging. It’s one I’m very proud to be a part of now.
The whole ethos of Seven Boot Lane is one that I really love. It began as a family business in 2012, and the emphasis on the personal, and the attention to detail, is one that permeates their whole footwear range. They favour quality above all else, and you can absolutely see that in the collections they produce each season. I chose the Grace boots and they are the most beautiful velvety suede, the perfect heel height and the prettiest shade of Bordeaux you ever did see.
I think they complement my style vibe perfectly, as Avril’s choice do hers. It’s the testament to a good friendship though, when you’d happily swap and wear each others’ too!
Too busy chatting to pose! Ha! Our sweet friend Nic took these photos for us, and you should see the outtakes. So many conversation faces! 🙂
I’ve already worn my boots with so many different outfits – a floral midi dress for a photo shoot in Spain (recreated again here!), casually with denim, and even with culottes for an evening out. The beautiful cut and dipped front is so flattering on the leg (particularly if your ankles aren’t your slimmest part, as is the case with me!) I know they’ll be in my wardrobe for years, and the colour will be as versatile in the Autumn and Winter as it is right now in the Spring.
Some of my other favourites from Seven Boot Lane’s Spring collection include these blush booties (a match made in heaven!) , these gorgeous silver loafers and these grey suede espadrilles, the perfect Summer shoe! All three are on my wish list for the coming season. So beautiful!
** Thanks so much to Seven Boot Lane for encouraging a get together with a good friend over a shared love of beautiful footwear! 🙂 And thanks so much to Avril for being one of the most supportive confidants I’ve found in this whole blogging journey. ** Affiliate Links.
