welcome winter!

Time is just escaping me at the moment and I have such a backlog of photos to share!

As I’ve mentioned before, this blog for me is as much a diary of our family life as it is an interiors one, or a style one, or a place to express creativity in all its many forms. I hope you don’t mind that – the little mix of everything that encompasses us in this phase of life that we’re in.  I like to think that it’s lifestyle in all its varied ways – perhaps not as glossy and glamorous as some out there, but real and achievable perhaps.  Lifestyle in a family sense I guess! You guys are always so kind and generous with your comments and advice, and I’m always so heartened by it.  I’m the sort of girl that always worries if I’m sharing too much, and I often think of posting things and then back out at the last minute (I mean, how many times have I talked about vlogging? 😉 ) but your encouragement means such an awful lot.  I’ll get those vlogs underway one of these days! 🙂  Speaking of which, if you follow over on Instastories I’ve been chatting just today about a couple of options I’ve been considering for there in the month of December.  The thing I love about Instastories in particular is the instancy, and the fact that I don’t have to listen to my voice times 65 billion times whist editing, ha!

Anyway, if you do follow over there, please do let me know what you’d like to see in the coming weeks.  The options are little festive gift guides – for her, him, home and kiddos – or alternatively little daily vlogs throughout December (Ernie in various novelty Christmas jumpers almost certainly guaranteed! 🙂 )  I’m excited to count down to Christmas with you!

You might have noticed that I’ve also updated my Wardrobe and Wishlist pages here, adding a few new items.  I’m determined to refresh these much more regularly over the next lot of months and, as always, I’ll include clickable links to the items, or very similar if they’re no longer available.  Also, hit me with ideas of things you’d like to see on LATLW next year too!  There are so many exciting things on the horizon for 2017 and I can’t wait to share them with you.  I have a festive decorating post coming super soon as well if you are at all interested in that!

Anyhow, enough rambling!  Some pictures of a gorgeous afternoon we spent recently at Rowallane Gardens.  I feel like we really made the most of Autumn’s last breath this year.  I’m going to be flicking through these photos A LOT in the depths of January and February, I can just tell!

We allowed Ernie off the lead for ten minutes as it wasn’t too busy this particular day.  I’ll not lie, my heart was in my mouth for a good bit of it, but he absolutely loved it!  He was fully diving into the leaves at one point and re-emerging somewhere different.  I love him and all his crazy sausage ways! 🙂

Hope you’re having a great week everyone!
