My name is Emma and I love stationery. I’m not even ashamed to admit that I have several pretty notebooks that I’m too afraid to ruin, and that just hang around my desk for the sole purpose of looking all colour coordinated and the like.
There’s immense pressure in choosing the right purpose for a new book you guys! I know you feel it too. 😉
Anyway! I’ve been gathering up some super sweet bits and bobs over the last while. I did a little haul over on Insta-Stories yesterday but, just in case you didn’t catch it, I thought I’d share them here too.
It has taken me a while to get in to this whole adult colouring phenomenon. I mean, I’m definitely not averse to helping Annie with her homework, or doodling with Noah at the dinner table, but as a pastime in its own right? Well, I’ve been a tiny bit sceptical. When I came across this book though, my cynical mind was turned. Fashion flatlays in colouring book form? A match made in artistry heaven. Featuring some really iconic pieces and wardrobe staples that you’d love to own, this is the dream in print form. I can’t wait to get started!
And while that indulges my artistic side, this little Travel Memoir will fulfil my wanderlust one. Full of blank pages to record notes on trips past, and those still to come, it’s perfect for planning new adventures and remembering old ones too!
I was determined this year to be one of those people who always has a card to hand for every occasion. I’m forever running out to buy one for a forgotten birthday, or unexpected party reply, and I figured that if I have a drawer full, then I’ll always be completely prepared. New year, new me! 🙂 These ones are so quirky and beautiful to boot. I’m going to be reluctantly parting with them!
I got this little notepad (a collaboration between Rifle Paper Co and Garance Dore) for all my to-dos. It has the sweetest little illustration and lots of pages for lots of lists!
I bought this Dymo label maker, initially to label jars in our Pantry, but I’ve since been using it for everything else as well. It’s so satisfying to punch out the letters and perfect for naming notebooks, desk essentials and folders too.
Speaking of folders, I got my polka dot ones, and Daydreamer notebook too, in Sainsbury’s fairly recently. The stationery aisle there is definitely worth a browse if you need a little distraction from the food shop now and again.
It’s the simple things in life, isn’t it?
And new notebooks, obviously.
