Spring Kitchen Tour {and a few Mother’s Day ideas!}

When we were at the planning and drawing stage of designing our home, one of the main priorities was getting the kitchen just so. I wouldn’t claim to be a particularly skilled cook, but a beautiful kitchen to potter in was always high on my agenda. (And PS. It’s totally a sign of getting old when you get crazy excited by dove tailed drawers. Or even know what they are! 🙂 )

Almost three years on and we are still so happy with how it all turned out. If you’d like to catch up on how we achieved the look on a tight budget, you can do so here (although please excuse the dreadful photos. Updating them is on my never ending to-do list!)

Local company Ulster Weavers contacted me back in January about their new range of kitchen ware and textiles and, oh my goodness, there’s literally nothing more Spring-y! Even though the weather of late has been wintry at best, we spent Sunday indulging in ALL the yellow and all the florals too.

I’m operating on the theory that it’s all a state of mind. The weather will catch up soon, right? Right??

A few pictures from around our Spring kitchen!

The kids loved using this new Dotty Sheep range (an orange juice teapot for the girls and a cup of tea for Mr Noah!) Any excuse for afternoon tea party rings and chocolate treats round here!

I’ve been particularly taken with the gorgeous new Designers Guild collaboration too, and think the floral apron and matching tea towels would make the most beautiful Mother’s Day gift.  Perfect for any Spring kitchen.  And any discerning mum too!

You can shop the full range of beautiful home ware and kitchen gifts here.

Spring, we’re ready for you!  (But until you show up, inside at least, I’ve got you covered!)

E x

Thanks so much to Ulster Weavers for partnering with us and helping us along on our quest for Spring (and the odd chocolate bun too!) 🙂

      We are totally the same Natalie. Everyone ends up in the kitchen – it’s constantly noisy! ☺ I love that it’s a great family space though! Haha! Get the teapot!! xx
