How’ve you been?
If you are on school holidays I hope you are bearing up OK. (It has rained pretty much non-stop for us this week. I’m hanging in there, but am spending far too much time seeking solace in caffeine and topshop.com
I’m kidding. Of course I’m kidding. 😉 )
The past week has been a busy one for us. I really am relishing having my little three at home again, and am especially thankful for long Summer breaks and the chance to spend time with them properly.
The lazy mornings haven’t really panned out as yet though. That’ll teach me to check the start times of Summerschemes before I agree to them.
FYI, 8.20am is WAY too early to be leaving the house in July.
Mr Noah is at Computer Camp this week, and learning how to take over the world from a laptop or something. The girls and I are touring local coffee shops and trying to stay dry in the face of torrential downpours.
I’m signing myself up for Computer Camp next year! 😉
Anyway, some pictures of our adventures so far if you’d like to see…
We had the best evening at the Lidl Tall Ships event last week. It neatly coincided with our wedding anniversary (twelve years! I can’t believe it!) so Mr M and I made a night of it and headed into town for dinner at Home after. It was one of those nights where you start off being a little apprehensive, and then it actually becomes one of the greatest.
Very thankful for great opportunities like this, and great blog friends to share it with. (Not to mention this man who supports me always!)
And Peonies! I’m such a cliché, but, I mean!
The team at Sanctuary Spa commissioned the most beautiful Merci Maman bracelets for all their resident writers and I received mine last week. I just love it, and am so looking forward to wearing it this Summer (it has my name on the back too!) Equally thrilled with my personalised beach bag and all the gorgeous holiday prep goodies as well. It still blows my mind that companies such as this are just so thoughtful. I’ve been overwhelmed lately by their generosity. Opening surprise parcels never gets old! 🙂
We threw a garden party for my dad’s 60th birthday, this weekend just past, and it was a really lovely afternoon of family and good weather and three varieties of scone for afternoon tea (because they are the only thing I can really make, so I go all out 😉 )
I think he enjoyed it anyway. Happy Birthday Dad, we love you lots!
And this little lot. I scored big time when I got given them, I truly did.
We are off on holidays this weekend, but I’ve a few more things to share on Little Loves before we go. Maybe see you Friday for that?
I hope you’re having a great week so far!
