Life Lately…

Has involved a lot of time outdoors. Actual, real-life sun you guys!

And I just want to say, that I feel we are allowed our moment to chat about the weather this week, because rarely (never!) is Northern Ireland smug about these types of things. We don’t take for granted our three days of blue skies. And you know what I’m like – any tiny blast of heat is reason enough for a party over here! 😉

I’ve been seriously lacking in blog inspiration this last little while (too busy barbecuing anything that stays still long enough, and drinking 4pm Prosecco!) but I vowed this year to not force it, and to just produce content that I feel really happy with. The little mix of interiors, fashion and general family goings on is where I’m at right now, and I figure as long as I keep moving in that direction I’ll have a bit of longevity over here. I hope you’ll maybe stick around too!

I’m trying to streamline my social channels a little bit too, to avoid as much of an overlap in content over there. Snapchat is my new bae (we’re littlewoodlife5 over there!) and I’m sort of reserving it for more fashion and beauty chatter. I was always a hesitant selfie poster on IG, but feel much more comfortable on Snapchat. There seems less pressure for the perfect image, and the community is smaller and a little less intimidating! If you haven’t got on board already, I’d really encourage you to, particularly if you’d like to put a voice to the faces of so many bloggers! 🙂

Anyway, some pictures of Little Wood and beyond this last couple of weeks!

I love reading your blog posts – everyone seems to be talking about Snapchat although I’m not sure I quite get it – I’m also still getting my head around Twitter and Instagram I’m not sure I could cope with anymore.

I’m enjoying this gorgeous warm weather though! Lovely pictures such a lovely home xx

Lovely pictures. I always find your blog very calming to read! I only touch base with 3 blogs & yours is one! I stumbled across one of your posts not long after becoming a mum & have enjoyed popping by ever since. Thank you also for putting your outfit links at the bottom of your post. I’m always on the look out for something different to wear & I enjoy seeing other peoples styles for inspiration (there are NO shops to peruse where I live!!) x

Beautiful Emma!! Let’s pray this weather stays and thank you again for having us… To say we had a blast that day is an understatement, and yes to the 4pm prosecco

I almost couldn’t read this Em because I know you guys have had AMAZING weather whilst ours has been utterly shocking! Couldn’t resist though so here I am. Love your pics this week. Can I just say? Snapchat is for teenagers! I simply cannot go on it or my two will disown me…they’ve threatened it many times already 😉 x x

OH Emma dear life lately looks amazing and heavenly. The sun is shining the kids are happy and things are calm and running smooth. Those are the best times growing up. Hope the weather is here to stay. Missing you hope we get to Ireland again soon otherwise I might just have to come solo for a shopping trip just us two! lol

A beautiful collection of pictures, and longevity is most certainly a word I would associate with your blog lovely Emma… We ain’t going anywhere! So jealous of the gorgeous weather you’ve had, but after 30 years of my northern Irish aunt telling me how wonderful the weather is here in comparison with there, I think you guys were due a little bit of smugness! Enjoy it! Still raining as I type!
