on the bar cart {moscato strawberry lemonade}

Happy Valentines! (almost!)  Any excuse to be festive in this house! 🙂

I thought I’d post this little drinks recipe today because, for me, it’s the Valentines spirit bottled. (Jugged.  You know what I mean!)  It is super easy to make (and drink!) and is perfect for an evening spent with your loved one, or one with your Galentines too!  I’m also bookmarking it for Summer parties and gatherings, when the evenings are warm and the best of the seasons strawberries make it that little bit sweeter.  I’m pretty sure that you could substitute any red fruit into it too, if strawberry isn’t your thing!

Moscato Strawberry Lemonade

You will need…

a glass jug (I got mine here!)

half a bottle of pink Moscato

half a cup of Strawberry vodka (see recipe below)

5 cups cloudy lemonade

frozen strawberry slices

Strawberry Vodka

Place half a punnet of quartered strawberries into a Kilner jar.  Cover completely with vodka.  Leave in a cool, dark place for three days, swirling the jar each day.  Strain into a bottle or jug and discard the strawberries.

To make the Moscato Pink Lemonade…

Mix all your ingredients in a large pitcher.  Add the frozen strawberry slices and serve!

More recipes coming soon.  Happy Valentines Day everyone!
